So uhm...yeah. Haven't updated in forever.
This weekend sucked. I was in the hospital for another kidney infection and they had me come back today. Blecky, at least I won't have to go to classes until Thursday! *happy dance*
So my RA, Danijela, and the guys side RA, Alex, want to hook me up with one of Alex's best friends. Guess we'll see how that goes next Saturday, as a group of Alex's friends are going out to dinner for Alex's birthday. Hmm...mebbe this'll be the positive thing in my week? :P
My girls are awesome, they took care of me the entire time I was sick and went far beyond what they had to do. I'm grateful to have such an awesome floor who are so selfless and caring.

Shannon and Greg, I'm really really sorry to hear about your uncle. :( *hugs*

And uhm...yeah, I don't have much else to say. ^_^

So, I had a really great weekend. I loved seeing all of my hug-rapers again...and of course the bowling buddies. You guys rock my socks, now I wish I could give you even more hugs. =( But hey, at least I got a bunch on Saturday right?

Why does it seem that when life is going great, there's always something missing?

Thunderstorms rock my world. I love waking up to them and watching them. The only thing that would make watching a storm better, is if I had someone watching them with me.

Hey all,

One of my favorite things in the world is putting on a pair of pants straight from the dryer. It's so cozy and comfortable.

Another one of my favorite things is getting woken up by puppy kisses. Don't ask me why, it just makes one feel loved.


You can't really see it, but Diamond is smothering me in puppy kisses.

I just found out that my cousin Brent is in intensive care right now. He fell down and hit his head. Now there's a blood clot on his brain. They aren't sure if he's gonna be able to make it. Please, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. As well as Chris's dad, and the people in New Orleans. There's too much sadness in the world. I wish I could take an ice cream scoop and scoop it all out. Or any kind of scoop really.

Not one of my better days.

Last night I spilled hot tea on my hand, now today it's all red and blistery. It's not pretty and it kinda hurts.

I think I'm coming down with something. Damnit, I don't wanna be sick. And I don't want my roommates to become sick because of me.

Homework upon homework that just keeps piling up no matter how much I work at it. College is way different from high school.

And I just missed my calculus class, the one class that is actually relevant to something. That's what I get for not double-checking the bus schedule. When I realized I was on the wrong bus, the class had already started. So I'm gonna go to tutoring so I can stay caught up in that class.

On a different note, I am now a member of the IM Soccer and Volleyball teams. That'll help me to not gain the freshman 15. Heh.

Not one of my cheerier entries eh? I'll have something better for y'all next times. I just haven't been feeling like myself today.

Yeah, so Tuesday was my birthday. My parents and grandparents came up to take me out to dinner. Which was delish btw, and then we get back to my room. I thought that my roommates were going to go eat ice cream with me, but...I came home, and everything was DECORATED! They through a surprise party for me and everyone else knew about it all along. How fun is that? There were streamers, and noisemakers, and a dolphin balloon, and cake (which was hella good) and PRESENTS!! It completely blew my mind because I've only known these girls for a week, and they went all-out for my birthday. I love my roommates, they are a blast to hang out with, are just the sweetest group of people, and just rock my socks. I'm so glad that they're my roommates. =D

Classes are going well, except for the load of homeworks from my IAH class. That's the only class that gives me a freakish amount of homework. Grr. Then in my freshman seminar, I guess we're going on a retreat later this month to Glenn's farm. Did I mention that it's going to be overnight, in tents, on one of the instructor's farm? Ha, I can be weirded out a little closer to the retreat.

To all the Saginaw peoples: I'm going to be home this weekend. Comment, or call when I get home Friday evening(781-4424) if you want to hang out or something of that affect.

Hey Hey Hey!

I am still alive...contrary to popular belief.

I went camping this past week and heard my aunt's horror story about one of her ex-roomies who threatened to kill her. >< Not too worried about it tho. Only two more full days of freedom left for me. Then it's off to State I go, minus my hug-rapers. I'ma gonna miss you guys. I'll have to drop by when I get a moment and see what's up in da hiz-zouse. Haha.

Chris: if I don't see you tomorrow, HAPPY 18TH!! Only, I'm specting you to say the same when it's mine turn...meanie. And Amber, if I can't make it, I'll let you know.

Shannon: I have some old clothes of mine in boxes if you wanna perform operations on them. Lemme know and I'll drop 'em off sometime before I leave.

Nate and Manda: You best be bowling on the Saturdays I decide I wanna show up. If you don't, all hells gonna break loose. =p
